Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.

After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, set off on an orientation drive around Dublin city center. See the main thoroughfares of O’Connell Street, Nassau Street and some lovely public parks as you pass by many historical sites. Stop to tour St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which is almost as old as the city itself. Motor a short distance to your hotel, check in and settle into your room. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a delightful welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT: CAMDEN COURT HOTEL, DUBLIN

Spend the morning and afternoon at leisure to relax or sightsee around Dublin. There are plenty of museums of Irish interest such as the National Museum, the National Gallery or Epic Ireland. There are also plenty of shops along Nassau Street and the pedestrianized Grafton Street or Henry Street. You may like to explore Temple Bar or visit some of the traditional pubs. In the evening, gather with your group to have dinner at a local restaurant or pub.

OVERNIGHT: CAMDEN COURT HOTEL, DUBLIN

Today, start your day with a local guide who will take you around Dublin. The city has been shaped over the centuries by economic, political, and artistic influences that have influenced its architecture. Stop to visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, an 8th-century illuminated manuscript of the gospels and the Old Library. Then, continue on for a guided tour of the Old Jameson Distillery, which will give you a real appreciation for the Jameson story, from their heritage and production process to their distinctive, iconic flavor. After your tour, enjoy a sample of the finished product. Return to your hotel for some free time to relax and freshen up before meeting your fellow travelers in the hotel restaurant for dinner.

This morning, visit Dublin Castle, which was the seat of power and government for many centuries. See the State Apartments, where many state functions are held in the richly decorated chambers. Then, visit the nearby Guinness Storehouse to see exhibits on how this world-famous stout was first created and why it is so popular today. Finish your visit in the roof-top bar, where you can sample a draft of Guinness. Head back to your hotel in time to dine with your group in the hotel restaurant.

Enjoy the morning and afternoon at leisure to rest or continue exploring Dublin. If you have not yet done so, you may like to visit Dublin Vaults, which is an interact experience that gives an introduction to Irish history. Or perhaps, you might like to visit the Museum of Literature, which will help acquaint you with some of Ireland’s fabulous writers. Additionally, there is a gift shop and onsite café. You might like to head back to your hotel to freshen up before tonight’s festivities.
This evening, meet your group for dinner in the hotel restaurant before heading out for an evening cultural event.

Or perhaps, you may like to visit Dublinia, a medieval heritage center where history comes to life through life-sized figures and many artifacts from the nearby Viking excavations. Tonight, gather with your fellow travelers for a wonderful farewell dinner at a nearby restaurant or pub.

OVERNIGHT: CAMDEN COURT HOTEL, DUBLIN

All too soon, your vacation has come to its final day. After breakfast, transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your flight. You may do some last-minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the United States.
